Wordless Wednesday: Chapter Books

Angry Kid is in first grade. Unbeknownst to us, he was/is a great reader. He is plowing through chapter books. I took this photo tonight while he was reading his book for homework. The book was 36, yes thirty-six pages. Ye gads!!

Welcome to “Angry Julie Monday’s Wordless Wednesday Linky”!

If this your first time here, HELLO! I do a link-up every Wednesday! Post a picture(s) and link back to it here. Wordless Wednesday is a great day to post an awesome picture that “speaks” for itself, no words needed.

Dylan loves reading too! Keep Angry Kid reading, let him read whatever he wants - even if you think it's above his level.

Adorable pic - doesn't it make you so proud when the kids turns out to be good readers?

isn't it amazing when you discover that they suddenly have made this huge achievement?! I couldn't believe it when our eldest first read an entire book to us. what a great moment.

That is so awesome! I love when kids getting excited about reading. It's like they go from reading one sentence on a page to paragraphs over night. We just had a similar experience with our first grader. In a blink of an eye, she was reading chapter books.

Reading is a really good habit to pick up while they are young. I've got a little reader at home too who insists that I read to her while we're on the roads and just before bedtime. Makes for great bonding too :)
