Today, Kelly from Kelly’s Korner Blog is doing a Blog Carnival about “Show Us Where You Live”. Rather than show you my particular town, I thought I would highlight the entire county that I live in, Orange County. The town I live in, is decent size but I do many things throughout the actual county rather than just my town.
The Huntington Beach Pier-The beach, downtown stores, and restaurants.
The Ferris Wheel at the Irvine Spectrum-Shopping Center with stores, and restaurants.
Dana Point Harbor-Fishing, Boat Docks, and Whale Watching.
Anaheim Stadium aka Home of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Baseball Team. They also host other events there too.
The view from the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel. The Ritz Carlton is a beautiful resort.
San Clemente Beach Trail. A great beach to run on. There is a paved path.
Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure. We try to go here at least once every two weeks. We live about 15 minutes away and have Season Passes.
Oh, and we have the Real Housewives of Orange County. The original Housewives. It’s pretty hard to compete with that. I’ve seen almost all of the women around the area, either at the mall or Starbuck’s.
I can’t wait to check out other people’s hometowns!

I’m officially jealous. I miss my home.
Every time you post pictures, I really miss living in Orange County.
First time we took our dog to San Clemente Beach (pre-kids) we were the only ones out there with clothes on..had no idea that it was an optional thing there…ah, good times!
between the OC, laguna beach and Real housewives, I love the way the OC Looks! I do want to visit someday
My SIL lives in Irvine and it is such a beautiful area!
Wow, that sure is different from where I live. If I showed our county it would be just a lot of pictures of cows…
What a fun post!! I love all your pictures!! Your blog is too cute! Happy Friday!
Great job showing the true beauty of living In Orange County..Been here all my life and the scenery never gets old! Im following you on twitter! Im @confidence101
You featured most of my favorite OC spots! It’s good to be in the OC. =)

It is definitely good to be in the OC…
Great pictures. Happy Friday!
I live in Orange County too and I love that I know where most of those spots are!! Great pictures, too!!
That’s pretty cool you have seen the Housewives around! I guess I don’t get out enough!
I guess people really do have to live there, but to me the idea of OC is really just about Housewives and Choppers!
What a beautiful area to live in! Great pictures too. Thanks for sharing!
oh my gawd…I work in the dana point harbor!
It looks like a lot of fun!
Love love love these photos! Beautiful!
I used to love going to that Ruby’s. Just the fact that it was on the end of a pier made it far more fun than any average restaurant.
I love this – what a great idea. I’m going to pick through some photos and see if I can play … would love to show people my Denver!
The OC is such a great place to live! So many things to do–you are never bored. When I lived in the area I loved having an annual Disneyland pass, went just to ride a few rides and have dinner, no rush!
And I am still a hardcore Angels fan…although I will NEVER call them the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
It was great meeting you today at Kate’s blogger meetup!
I grew up in Orange County (Placentia). We moved to Arkansas when I was 13 in 1977. I went “home” again in Aug. 2006 to see family and even got to go back inside the house I grew up in. I LOVED going back and seeing my old neighborhood. Oh, and my cousin took us to lunch at Ruby’s on the pier. LOVED THAT!
As a kid we often went to Disneyland and Anaheim Stadium. We watched fireworks from Disneyland every night during the summer from the upstairs at our house. Ha!
I enjoyed your photos.
Oh so great to see another reader of Kellys Korner here in Orange County! What a fun post and I absolutely love Orange County but I would just have to throw in a couple beautiful pictures of our down south neighbor ~ San Diego! (And add the Charger’s Stadium!)
Your neighbor in Laguna Niguel!
Um, I think I’m going to move to your town. Ahhh it’s so pretty and I am looking for a new job anyway. Have the inside scoop on any jobs?? lol.
Riiiiiight. It’s a high cost of living, and layoffs going on everything. Although it’s pretty.
