Diary of a Wimpy Kid Plus Giveaway

My son is a HUGE fan of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. He was super excited when he heard that Book #7 The Third Wheel was coming out last month. You should have seen his face when he opened the package that contained the book. He was screaming, over a BOOK! I was cracking up at his reaction.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid-The Third Wheel

Diary of a Wimpy Kid was one of the first real chapter books that my son, a second grader got into. He was hooked once he really started reading it. Ever since he read that book, during the summer, he has continued to read other books in the series.

But really, the illustrations in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books are my son’s most favorite part. He is always giggling when reading the books. Author and Illustrator Jeff Kinney does an excellent job!

My son is still reading The Third Wheel but he loves it just as much as the other books. In fact, when he’s done with this book, I think that he is going to re-read all of the books in order, AGAIN!

About The Third Wheel

Love is in the air—but what does that mean for Greg Heffley?

A Valentine’s Day dance at Greg’s middle school has turned his world upside down. As Greg scrambles to find a date, he’s worried he’ll be left out in the cold on the big night. His best friend, Rowley, doesn’t have any prospects either, but that’s a small consolation.

An unexpected twist gives Greg a partner for the dance and leaves Rowley the odd man out. But a lot can happen in one night, and in the end, you never know who’s going to be lucky in love.
