Last week, Angry Husband suddenly got a craving for ice cream and demanded that we go to Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour for dinner, and ice cream, of course. I’ve been there a few times in the past year or so, but Angry Husband had never been. I used to go as a kid, until they all closed down. There is nothing better than good ole’ fashioned ice cream.
Angry Husband and I shared a “Pig Trough”.

I live exactly 1.6 miles from the Brea location, yet ever time I go by Farrell’s the line is 50 people deep!
Would love to go relive my childhood, but waiting for the crowds to die down….(great for downtown Brea businesses, though!)

Oh my goodness. I loved Farrell’s as a kid. We had all of our birthday parties there. I remember how they ran around with the ice cream trough, sirens blaring, and how I hoped and prayed that they would drop it. They actually did a couple of times! lol I was so sad when they closed down, but they opened up again here in Hawaii several years ago.
