I was invited to Disneyland on Saturday for event celebrating the Holidays at the Disneyland Parks. I big puffy heart everything about Disneyland. It is truly magical. But things like parades and fireworks at the parks, give me a little road rage. That is the only way that I can describe it. I am not a tall person by any means, 5’4″. So it can become difficult when I’m attempting to take photographs.
We were dead center on Main St. USA at Disneyland for the “Believe… in Holiday Magic” Fireworks Show, which should have been perfect viewing, except for the fact that a man standing about six feet in front of me, was like seven foot tall, I am not exaggerating ok maybe a little. I pushed my way up to the front of our area, but I have a lot of internal cursing (ok so I might have said a few obscene words outloud) going on during the show. I love viewing the fireworks, and photographing them is a HUGE bonus. I was completely spoiled during HalloweenTime at Disneyland. We had the perfect view of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle for the Fireworks show. I took some AMAZING photographs.
I had to edit a few photographs, to show the head, I mean obstruction.

Although, I had SEVERAL, ok hundreds of photographs with obstructed views, or mainly, a LARGE HEAD in my photographs, I think this photograph really captured the moment. Everyone looking towards the castle, as the fireworks are ending, and “snow” is slowly starting to fall. Because really, Disneyland is MAGICAL.
Disclosure: I was provided tickets and a fancy dinner via Disneyland for my family. I will have a much more detailed and awesome post about their Holiday Events later this week. I promise. All opinions are mine.

Oh, it’s not that bad! Hella funny, but not bad.
Lol!!!
No, it is not that bad…but I deleted most of the REALLY bad ones right off the camera. Totally bummed that I did, because they were so awful.
I know you probably laughed at my comments on the photos..
It was more annoying than bad. You know I like to entertain…
lol laughed at the comments at the head poking up. i think the last picture is amazing and the others really arent bad
Awww thanks…seriously, I was cold out there taking those pics too. I kept jumping up trying to get pictures. After taking awesome ones for Halloween, I was pretty disappointed.
I totally agree with you about Disney! We went to Disneyworld a few years ago and although it was HOT, HOT, HOT…I made the best of it…until my husband, who is 6’2″ wanted to stand in the middle of a very crowded area…I also and vertically challenged! I was so mad I could have spit nails (and probably did!)…He ended up leaving the area immediately after the parade ended and I was back in an area where I could breathe (and see) and didn’t see him leave…I eventually found him, but when I finally caught up with him, neither of us were all to “happy”!!! LOL! Maybe Disney could think of a way to change the way they do parades! Just sayin!
I think the short people should be offered step ladders for parades, etc…
Ummm… that guy only wishes he could be as epic as a unicorn.
I thought of you when I made that comment on that picture. I think unicorn horns make everything better.
You need a rubber band gun.
Seriously, I need to come up with some kind of weapon or method for next time. There is always a next time, especially since I’m short.
Peopls and there big heads really annoy me. I went to a Katy Perry Concert earlier this year and the girl in front of me was 6 ft tall with an afro. Seriously…and she stood up the whole time.
6 ft. tall with an afro…were you losing your mind…that sucks…
I’m with Becca. You need a rubber band gun. lol Great photos, though!
Rubber band gun…that would be awesome. I was soo annoyed.
