Although we are still enjoying summer, returning to school is not far away. I’ve been buying items for school since we got out in June. It is easier to stock up supplies if I buy things over time, rather than running out to the store and buying it all at once.
Angry Kid has pretty predictable growth spurts. I always know to buy a size larger for late Fall/Winter clothes. It seems around November that the sleeves on his shirts get shorter, and his pants turn into high waters. But shoes are the worst part of Back To School Shopping. My son gets used to wearing flip flops and his beloved Crocs.
We got these Crocs last summer and he still wears them. I love that he still asks for the Buzz Lightyear ones even though he wants to be so grown up. Angry Kid is starting first grade this year and it is a big milestone. He went to half-day kindergarten last year, and was somewhat secluded from the rest of the kids. He can’t wait to go all day long and see everyone on the playground. I’m pretty excited for the extra break during the day, shhh don’t tell him though.
Did you know that Crocs makes a great School Approved Back-To-School Collection? I am quite impressed with their boy’s collection. My son is super picky and he loves them. I think my favorite ones are the Hi-Tops.
