Friday Favorites: My Tech Team

There are some things that I don’t mess with.  My blog and coding is one of them.  Well, I can do my sidebars, and plugins, but…the rest is a whole other language to me.

While, I was at work the other day, I got a text message from Megan telling me that my blog looked weird.  I had already looked at it earlier that morning, and knew it looked strange. I texted Cynthia to see if she could find out the problem.  She wasn’t near a computer at that time so she was unable to look at it.  I then harassed Sarah via email.  Sarah updated my blog to WordPress 3.2 and said that everything looked fine.

I finally got a chance to look at my blog and texted Cynthia again. She called me and we worked through the issues. She realized that the visual editor needed to be refreshed. Within a few minutes, my blog looked perfect again!

Cynthia recently moved my blog to the Headway theme. She is a rockstar like that. If you need a custom and original blog design, but sure to check out Cynthia at NW Designs, and her personal blog, Nap Warden.  She does Blogger and WordPress Designs.

Sarah is just plain awesome with code. I think she has special skills with finding viruses, and hacked blogs. Everytime I have plug-in issues, Sarah saves the day. Sarah has her personal blog, Technology For Moms, and her business site, with the same name.

And the best part, if you are attending BlogHer11′ in San Diego, Cynthia and Sarah are both speaking!!!

Cynthia is speaking with Jill (Scary Mommy) on Great Blog Design on August 6, 2011 at 10:45am-12:00pm.

Sarah will be available at the Social Media Geek: BlogHer Geek Bar on August 5, 2011 from 12:30-2:30pm talking about Fixing Your Sick PC and 2:30-4:30om talking about Fixing Your Sick Blog.

I'm so excited to hear Nap Warden at Blogher! I don't have any other sessions picked out yet, but hers is a MUST for me!!

well... I have NO idea what "the visual editor needed to be refreshed" means nor do I know what a Headway theme is. BUT- big high fives to the girls who keep your shit together ;) I get a little flustered when i get weird messages and cant get on your blog.

I can't wait to hear them speak! I am wanting to change my blog design and I guess I'll wait until after BlogHer!
