The Orange County Fair starts on July 15th this year. They always start setting up the rides and some of the other features at the end of May. I wanted to get a photo of the La Grand Wheel before the Fair starts. I took a zillion pictures, and I’m going to try some different editing techniques on them. I’m going to print out some of the pictures and hang them in our master bedroom.

Oh I love those fairs, unfortunately we don’t have them here. And this is one huge wheel.
I’m sure you can make beautiful prints, maybe a sequence when you edit them differently.

Our fair is always in the fall when it is just getting cold around here. i guess it is something to look forward to because there really isn’t too much else to do at that time of year around here.

Love. I recommend the book The Great Wheel by Robert Lawson. Fun read (it’s a kids book) and educational about the history of the Ferris wheel.
Ohh I will have to check out that book.
It’s funny, I can’t stand riding on ferris wheels, but I LOVE photos of them. And yours definitely does not disappoint! Love the perspective and high contrast against that beautiful sky! :>
