Wordless Wednesday: New Orleans City Tour

While I was in New Orleans two weeks ago, I took a city tour with Stephanie, Tauni, and Tiffany. We hopped on a bus and had a great 3-hour tour. I got stuck in the back of the bus wedged between rude people whom would not move when I wanted to take pictures. Some of my pictures were taken from my middle seat, shot over the two people sitting next to me.

I enjoyed your pics. A few years ago I was in New Orleans and the lower 9th looked pretty bad still. Has it been fixed up a little?

Some people are such douches. I would have just kept snapping pictures of anything and everything. Even them. :)

Great photos. The images speak to the stark contrasts one sees in New Oreleans now. I was there in 2006 and did my own walking and driving tour. Some very intense scenes, both positive and darker.

Oh, now that's some great company! My inlaws lived there for 18 months on a service mission and I'm still bummed we didn't go visit while they were there.
