I’m excited to tell you about a great event coming up soon. The Great Kindness Challenge will take place on Saturday, August the 14th. Kids For Peace started the Great Kindness Challenge in order to help make the world a kinder, more compassionate place.
If you have a child this would be a great opportunity to be a good example to them, and urge them to do a kind act for the Great Kindness Challenge. If you’d like some ideas you can go check out the Great Kindness Challenge Checklist here.
In partnership with the Great Kindness Challenge Kind Snacks is offering a great prize for you guys to encourage my readers to participate in the Great Kindness Challenge
I love that a company “gets it” and is being charitable. They are so many great causes out there to help with. I think it is important to get kids started early with charity work, and educating them about things going on in the World around them.
KIND Snacks has been gracious enough to participate in a giveaway for my readers. Although, I have not tried KIND Snacks, I hear that they are delicious. I know several people whom are addicted to them.
The Prize:
I will be giving away a (1) Package of KIND Snacks (Retail Value $100) to a very lucky reader!

There are lots of things that we do from day to day, but we’re currently gathering school supplies to donate to a program in our area. It’s nice to be able to help others with the money that we save!
By being the “kind” example myself.

WOW with a 5yo & 3yo I’m always pointing out when they are kind or nice to each other (as opposed to clobbering each other) But we are also teaching to save money for charity & donating extra food to the pantry

We use kind words to one another, and if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

We really do follow the golden rule around here!
We promote being KIND to one another by doing simple things, like making each others bed, getting them a drink to go with their meal and helping with school work, all without asking and without any reward other than just a feel good feeling. Thanks!

I promote kindness by being an example to those around me of what kindness looks like. I also smile and make eye contact.
I’m going to make Kindness Koupons for the kids so they will have ideas on-hand to help them think of nice things to do for others.
I’m a fb fan of Angry Julie Mondays
We model it ourselves by being generous with our resources and we have the children recite the “jesus creed” every night to love the lord go with all your heart, mind and soul, and LOVE OTHERS AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF!”
We strive to treat each other kindly in our household. I’m also working with my kids to help them learn how to be good friends to each other and their non-family friends.
We try to always say please and thank you.
We are gathering things to donate that we no longer need
Ihave 4kids!When one is mean to the other or they cant stop being rude mean or fighting,I make them say 5 nice things about the other ,before they can do anything else ,it always ends in laughter…works like a charm in promoting KINDness!
