Every First Friday of the month, Harveys Seatbeltbags releases a new bag. How awesome is that? What a great thing to look forward to. Everyone knows that I’m a huge fan of Harveys, as I stood in line with only a few hours of sleep in anticipation of their Limited Edition Bags. While there, I was able to meet the owner of Harveys, Dana. He was awesome to meet in person. We got talking about blogging, Facebook, etc.
Well guess what, a few days after blogging about my adventure at Harveys, Dana contacted me. He said that he wanted to do a giveaway on my blog! Yes, a giveaway for my readers and of course, the many Harveys’ fans out there. So what am I giving away?
I’m giving away the newest Harveys Seatbeltbag. The newest bag collection is a patchwork print with the wonderful name of “Pocketbook Full of Posie”. What a perfect bag for spring! It is a patchwork design with butterflies and flowers. What a bright and cheerful name. It gets me excited for sunshine, shorts, and fresh spring flowers.
I am giving away one Pocketbook Full of Posie Convertible Tote” which measures overall bag size 13″ (L) x 9.5″ (H) x 4″ (W), with an adjustable strap – goes from 28″ with 12″ drop up to 51″ with 25″ drop. It has a retail value of $138.00.

I love love love seatbelt bags! I have several although my favorite right now is my Venti Upside-Down, Soy Caramel Macchiato with Sugar-free Vanilla Syrup and a extra shot of espresso w/whip bag that I recently got. I love all of their bags but I can’t wait to get my hands on their skully bag.

And the Harvey’s are SOO nice! I sent in a picture to Dana for the Vacation Contest. I didn’t win, but he sent a reply back that was definitely not an auto-reply. I had mentioned that the bag in the pic (a black and white baguette) was actually my second 1 since my first was ruined by a Diet Coke can that was poked with a ballpoint pen (A pen!!) and I didn’t realize it until I now had a black and vaguely brownish baguette. He was so nice saying that if I still had the ruined bag they could probably get it cleaned up. So nice and friendly!
I have quite a few of their bags and I can’t really pick a favorite, but I do love my Lola and my Paint By Numbers (first edition), the Cherry Blossom though is still one of my fave prints. The colors are the best and it’s just too pretty for words! =)

I just got my 6th Harvey’s bag yesterday for my birthday – the Treecycle Convertible tote. It’s beautiful! I first found out about Harvey’s about 2 years ago, and I have been addicted ever since. I haven’t used another type of purse since I got my first one, the B&W medium tote. It will forever be my favorite, but all of my others are REALLY close!

I’ve been a fan of Harvey’s seatbelt bags for a couple of years along with both my sisters and mom. It is more like an addiction for us. We love the bags as well as the wonderful Cinderella story of Dana and Melanie Harvey. Aside from this, we adore these beautiful bags and the lifetime support of the Harveys family.
Just a week ago, I visited my cousin in CA and got her hooked too. In one week, she has collected 8 beautiful bags and Rosettes. Lucky girl!
My favorites are my Black and Champagne Madisons with coordinating Rosettes for my everyday bag. For my dressy attire, I use my Black or Espresso Lola totes. I recently went on a job interview and used my Black Lola Tote. I tell ya, it was the ice breaker of my interview. The recruiter loved my bag and I ended up giving her a Harveys product card. The result, I GOT THE JOB!!!
I absolutely love Harvey’s!! I was introduced to the seat belt bags in early 2007 by a co-worker and immediately bought the Messenger. I have a total of 4 seat belt bags and my favorite is the convertible tote. I’ve been trying to branch out in colors (all 4 of my bags are black) and fell in love with the Pocketful of Posies print. I actually cant wait until the end of the month… I’ll be visiting Disneyland and have plans with my sister to visit the Santa Ana store… I’m so excited!!

I have three Harvey bags. I have 2 large satchels, one black polka dot, the other midnight blossom. I also have the Sugar Plum limited edition. I love my harveys bags and would love to own another one! My sister Nicole lived in Hawaii for a few years and found seatbelt bags and fell in love with them! I have several Harvey’s bags and I love them all! My most recent is the new sold out LTD coffee bag that I got at the Santa Ana release event… I LOVE IT! I dont have a boat tote yet and I think I may try one out this summer, looks light wieght and roomy.
Ooooh, I LOVE Harvey’s and have been collecting their fabulous bags for a few years. It’s really hard to pick a favorite. Each one of mine has a special place in my heart. I think if I had to choose just one favorite it would be my Lola Satchel. I just adore those sweet ruffles and it amazes me it’s all done with seatbelts!

When my family, co-workers, and friends think of me, they think of HARVEYS SEATBELT BAGS! Even the girls at the grocery store and a local cafe I go to always comment on my bags. I have given away ALL of my other purses since buying my first Harveys bag 8 years ago. No joke.
I love them all… but my favorite would have to be my tough love boxy. My boyfriend went through a lot of hassle to get it: When he went online to buy it and put it in his shopping cart, when he tried to pay it said no longer available as in the 20 minutes he had it sitting in there they had taken if off the site! He was able to call the warehouse in Santa Ana and they happened to have a couple left and he drove right over. It’s the bag I get the most compliments on as I am a pink fanatic and love anything uber girly!

Hi Julie, I met you at the limited ed. release event too. It was great talking to you and I’ve so been looking forward to this. I remember Dana talking about it. I LOVE Harvys!
I have 2 favorite bags. The coffee bag I got at the even (147), I’m so proud of it because it’s my first limited ed. bag. My other favorite bag is my forever blue jeans medium boat tote because Dana worked extra hard for me to get it.
By the time I’d saved money to get it, they were out of the size I wanted. I’d already e-mailed back and forth with Dana a little bit because of a contest, so I thought why not e-mail him and see if there is anything he can do (it couldn’t hurt right?). It didn’t hurt, it helped. He’s so kind. He found out that they had 1 more left that a customer had neglected to pick up and he made sure I got it. I had him sign the tag at the event!
I love the pocket book full of posies collection. I so wanted a patchwork one but the timing didn’t work out, now I love this version of it even more!
And tomorrow (April 8th) is my 4 yr wedding anniversary. This would be such a wonderful present! I know the winner will be selected randomly – but I can always hope!

I’ve always been a big fan of prints, so the Carriage Hobo Zebra does it for me.
While I don’t own a seatbelt bag, I do find myself eyeballing them on the Harvey’s website often enough. I remember especially liking the look of the Patchwork collection. These new Pocketbook of Posies bags take the cake though, all the cuteness of the Patchwork but all in lovely garden-y patterns that I just love!
I have 5 bags, a wallet, a coin purse, and a clutch!! I love them all and don’t think I will ever have enough. My favorite however of those is my mini messenger garden tweed, because it was a gift from my husband! I have my eyes on the new skully tote right now! I have not seen a harveys bag I haven’t loved though, that’s for sure!!!
I have been a fan of Harvey’s for about 6 years now and try to buy a new one each year. I currently am using my green messenger bag as I have a 7 month old and 2 1/2 year old
I currently am jonesing for the Brooklyn Hobo bag (waiting for it to come in brown-love the earth tones) and leopard clutch wallet. And every time I try to consider other purses I always end up feeling guilty and running back to Harveys! Love, love, love them!!!

i currently have 3 seatbelt bags, 1 wristlet, and 1 wallet. i absolutely love them! my favorite would either be my green one or my butterfly one. i’ve gotten my stepdaughter started on them too. i plan to get more over time too. and i love the pocketbook of posie bag, the scully bag (and hope they make a smaller version), and the black and white bag. actually they’re all great!
I am in love with all of Harvey’s paint by numbers bags which is why I love this bag that you are giving away, it is a collection of a bunch of different bags. Love it!!!!
I have a few Havery’s seatbelt bags, but my favorite is my most classic and my first. My husband is a United States Naval Officer, and while he was on deployment he sent me a Sailor (navy blue) large tote to cheer me up. I had wanted a Harvey’s for the longest time and when it showed up on my door step I knew that MY sailor was thinking about me. It will always be my favorite for this reason.

I love Harvey’s to death! I’ve been collecting them since 2006, and my personal favorite that I do not own is the boat tote bags, and I love the idea of the mix and match Pocket full of Posie bags! My personal favorite is the boomarang cream boxy I own. It’s so funky with being classy! But if I’m on the go, the Harvey’s messengers are a MUST! They store everything, my co-op teachers love them (I’m getting ready to student teach), and I keep my bag safe since the strap goes across my body!!!
I am a huge Harveys fan! Currently I own three, a purple large satchel, a large tote in seafoam, and the convertible tote in the “Get Checked” pattern (pink and black). I love my Harvey’s bags! I owe quite a few now. My daughter, Jenni, got me hooked too. I get so many compliments when I walk around with my Harveys bags. I can’t decide what my next one will be, but I’m jonesing for a carry-on someday, definitely. I get so many comments on my Seat belt bags, even my friends brag about my bags to other friends: “They’re made of SEAT BELTS!”. It’s adorable!

It’s hard to believe I’ve been a big time Harveys fan for almost 7 years now! My first bag was a Red Small Tote that I stumbled across in a Marshall Fields and I’m so happy that I got it. My collection has grown quite a bit since then. : )The latest bag I have been checking out is the Peony Lola Ruffle Tote. I love the color and how it’s different from all the others yet you can still really feel that Harveys vibe from it.
My favorite bags that I own are two large satchels that were spray painted by an artist that they had at one of their events. My boyfriend came across them on Ebay and knew he had to get them for me. Whenever I wear those out people can’t believe that #1 the bags are made of seatbelts and #2 that someone actually spray painted them and they look as cute as they do!
I have to give it to Melanie and Dana for having such great contests and events for their fans and going through all the trouble that they do to make everyone happy. They truly are as special and unique as the bags they have created.
Our household loves Harvey’s – we have & share over 30 bags. Even my 14 year old niece has 2 boat totes for school bags (only bag that has lasted for all the books she carries to and from school) and now is in love with her Lola ruffle clutches.

Shopping!I have two favorites: Gray Medium tote with the snap closure because it matches my car and it was my first and my Large Black and White Checkered Tote that I take to the Indianapolis 500 every year! I get lots of comments and questions about that bag and hand out so many Harveys cards it crazy!
harveys all started for me when i found the orginal paint by numbers bag at a trade show brought that one and found out a store here in omaha sold them. visited the store, found out more about harveys bags. found their website and have been in love with harveys ever since. now i share the bags with my daughter. however, shes wanting her “own” harveys bags, so now we can shop together for them. enjoy the bags alot.
I am sooo hooked on Harveys bags!! I didn’t even know they existed less than a year ago, and then my hubby and I walked into a little boutique while on vacation, and that’s when I laid my eyes on what would become my first bag. I have over thirty in my collection, including The Bugs, The Obama and The McCain, The Camo, as well as several of their LTD’s. At the moment, my fav is “Coffee Bean”, but that will change, I’m sure, with my next acquistion!!
