Every First Friday of the month, Harveys Seatbeltbags releases a new bag. How awesome is that? What a great thing to look forward to. Everyone knows that I’m a huge fan of Harveys, as I stood in line with only a few hours of sleep in anticipation of their Limited Edition Bags. While there, I was able to meet the owner of Harveys, Dana. He was awesome to meet in person. We got talking about blogging, Facebook, etc.
Well guess what, a few days after blogging about my adventure at Harveys, Dana contacted me. He said that he wanted to do a giveaway on my blog! Yes, a giveaway for my readers and of course, the many Harveys’ fans out there. So what am I giving away?
I’m giving away the newest Harveys Seatbeltbag. The newest bag collection is a patchwork print with the wonderful name of “Pocketbook Full of Posie”. What a perfect bag for spring! It is a patchwork design with butterflies and flowers. What a bright and cheerful name. It gets me excited for sunshine, shorts, and fresh spring flowers.
I am giving away one Pocketbook Full of Posie Convertible Tote” which measures overall bag size 13″ (L) x 9.5″ (H) x 4″ (W), with an adjustable strap – goes from 28″ with 12″ drop up to 51″ with 25″ drop. It has a retail value of $138.00.

Hi there, I love Harvey’s bags!! My fav bag is the one my brother stood in line to collect for me. He meet Dana (I’ve got a picture) and he got it signed. It was a LTD Queen of Hearts bag – Number 10. It’s my most prized possession! My brother passed away last May from a brain tumor. It was only a month after his 1st surgery (he had 3) that he stood in line for me. He was a real trooper! He knew the importance of the bag!

My name is Gleanne Dimson. I currently live in Honolulu but am an Orange County Native. I am absolutely in love with the Madison tote! I would purchase it online but need an excuse to visit one of the stores next month while I’m in town . I have a couple Harvey’s bags already and it’s hard to pick a favorite. But if I had to choose, I think I would pick the Patchwork Purse (because it was actually quite difficult to get it)! When I found it was only going to be available at the Patchwork event I was on a mission to get that bag in my hands. Now I sport it around town and get many compliments and determined to add to my collection.
Just heard about these bags from a friend on facebook. I love them. I can’t afford one right now but maybe soon. Or maybe I could win my first one.

I have 7 Seatbelt bags and a wallet & chain purse currently. I love every bag on their website. My favorites include the Lola Ruffle, Madison, Olive, Rosebud, Scully Rope Tote and I’m really digging the Paisley. I’ve turned on several of my friends to Seatbelt Bags and they all love them. Sadly, there is no Harvey’s stores where i live in Fairfax, VA. I hope that i get a chance to visit their store next time I’m in California. I love the Pocketbook of Posie bag!
Hi my name is Nicole! I’m a newlywed! I just received my first Harvey’s Original Seatbelt bag for my birthday last year. My husband (wonderful fiance at the time) purchased for me the Full Wallet in Black and the Coin Pouch in Black and my wonderful in-laws got together and purchased the Carriage Tote in Black to match! I absolutly love the set and I havent stopped wearing it since! I cant get enough! My recent emails to my husband have been hinting for the adorable Scully bag! Soo cute!
I love Harvey’s Seatbelt Bags. I already own over 10 and two coin purses and I am waiting to receive my recent purchase of the Lola Collection. They are the greatest bags because they are very tough and are excellent quality. If you never owned a Harvey’s try and get one, believe me you will LOVE it and you will never regret buying one. Once you buy one you will love you so much that you will go back and buy some more. :0 )
Let’s see… Favorites from the website are the Lola Ruffle in Peony and the Posie Boat Tote. I have two seatbelt bags, and my favorite go-to bag is the basic black satchel — I have lots of run weaving funky ribbons thru the bag, and also seem to get lots of interest here in Metro Detroit where anything auto related garners attention.
I have a treecycle medium tote and a brown baguette! I love the baguette because it has one strap. These purses get me comments in public from old ladies to men. The ladies like it because it looks so functional and the guys notice they like it but then when I say it’s made out of seatbelts they REALLY like it.
I love, love, love Harvey’s seatbelt bags! I got my first one (large black tote with the snap closure) around 8 or so years ago. Since then, I have purchased several more with my newest bag being a convertible tote in zebra. I love the idea of making something extraordinary out of things you use every day. Harvey’s is so creative and always surprises me with new bag designs and accessories. (I am loving the rosettes!) I’m looking forward to their spring editions (especially Dottie).
Love these bags!!! I love the classic Disney prints. And I would love the boxy paisley! And so many more! I could probably name 20 bags that I would love to have!
I love the Harvey’s bags! As I only have one, it is my favorite bag that I own and get compliments on it all the time! It is a Limited Edition from last year that’s blue and green. I also have a patchwork clutch wallet that goes with everything! I want them all!!!

I happened on Harvey’s bags on the internet and was bummed that it was a few weeks AFTER I had just returned from my first visit to Southern California. I am the proud owner of a 2010 Limited Edition “coffee bag” (number 23…my son’s birthday). I badgered the poor staff at the Santa Ana store until I got one! They were very patient and accommodating. I even picked up a few accessories. I have my eye on several others. I am making a “wish list” as my birthday is right around the corner. I anxiously await first Fridays!!! My “used-to-be” best friend got me hooked on Harvey’s in 2006. Since then I have acquired a few: Creamy Satchel, LTD Edition Sweet Pea (green with a pea pod liner), Paint by Numbers Boat Tote, Cosmo Cross Body, Bugs Camo, Patchwork convertible, Disney Boxy, Tree Cycle North/South, & LTD Pumpkin Spice. I even bought my little girl one last year when she turned 4 (ballet pink). I also got one of the girls that work at my local Hallmark store hooked, she has two (I am a greeting card junky too).
My favorite colored bag is the Sweet Pea. I love the color of green and the liner is TOO cute! My favorite style is my Patchwork convertible, I can wear it long, short or somewhere in between. My favorite carry everything including the kitchen sink bag is my Paint By Numbers Boat Tote. Today it had the following in it: My wallet, cell phone, 5 lip glosses, touch up face powder, car keys, small Strawberry Shortcake spiral notebook which has my To Do lists, my Seatbelt bag small cosmetic bag (which doesn’t hold cosmetics but is my coupon caddy), deodorant (I am always suprised when I forget to apply this at the house), eye glass cleaner/cloth, sunglasses, bag of pretzels, Puffs To Go, Advil, my daughter’s blanket & stuffed animal and one banana (which I forgot to eat for breakfast this morning). GOOD LUCK CRAMMING ALL OF THAT INTO A LITTLE PURSE!
I check the Harvey’s website almost daily to see what’s on the BLOG and simply drool over bags that I would LOVE to have. I also love looking at the accessories too, as I have always wanted a full wallet. I think that my favorite part of the website is the BLOG; I love seeing pics of the employees, behind the scenes at the photo shoots, stuff like that. It makes me feel even more closer to this awesome company that happens to be so far away from me (I live in chilly Michigan).
If someone is one the fence about purchasing one of these wonderful bags, just go on and do it! They are gorgeous, durable and so darn unique. I can’t tell you how many little Harvey’s business cards I have given out over the years. SPREAD THE LOVE!

I love my seatbelt bags. Right now, I have five plus a coin purse and a cosmetic bag. One of my friends got me hooked!
With the Pocketbook Full of Posie, I can see a bit of the posie mini messenger I own. Hopefully I can add a travel bag to my Harvey’s mix one of these days.
Oh, I like SOOOOO many Harveys bags, I can’t choose just one single fav. I’ve been buying them for a couple years now, but I do not have them all. They are even fun to see on other people when I’m out in public. Harveys bags have become my special “me” purchases that I do from time to time when I gather a little extra money. Sometimes it feels good to treat yourself after you’ve been taking care of your family!
I do use the large tote and the large satchel silhouletes the most out of all of the styles though, as I usually have a few things to carry when I go out with my kids…first aid kit, etc.
I can say that my favorite colors so far, have been Dragonfly, Army, Maroon, Peony and Espresso. Those go with everything I wear.
Others that are just simply cool are colors like Copper – it shines like nothing else…the belts shine so metallic-like in the sun, but I need to be wearing somehting more neutral while I carry it.
The Rugby bags were very cool when they came out – I just love my Sailor and White!
Red is fabulous to carry to an Anaheim Angels game. The shade is perfect! I have purchased a few Harveys red bags so that we all have something to carry to the game…my daughter has the satchel, and my husband carries the diaper bag, though it usually has other stuff inside instead of baby items. I amn hoping to purchase a red backpack sometime for my son.
I have only a couple printed bags: Disney Red, White & Blue, and the Butterfly tote. So if I were to be chosen to get this Pocketbook convertable tote, it would be FABULOUS to win! I’d be very grateful!

I’m striving to own at least one Harveys in every style – Lola satchel, mini messenger, boxy tote, etc. I absolutely love the weaving design the handbags were first based upon. My favorite is the Violet satchel I bought from the Harveys Ebay auction, indicating that it’s one of a kind! My other favorites are the ones in Violet, Eggplant & Dragonfly colors.
Oh, I love Harveys. My favorite bag has to be my LTD Sugar Plum medium tote. I stood in line with “Angry Julie” that morning! Didn’t get to meet her, but then again, I was still new to the Harveys world and getting my feet wet. 6 or 7 purses later in one week, I think I’m higher than a noob now!

My sister in law loves these bags and I have to agree they are really cool.
I first saw the seatbeltbag on a trip to Cali many years ago. It was so unique and eye-catching, I just had to have one. I went home to PA, got googling, and my first seatbeltbag was a Champagne Mini Messenger. Its neutral so I can wear it with anything. I love to travel with it because it carries everything and I can keep my hands free. For later purchases, I always look for something unique in the design (not that being made of seatbelts isn’t already unique enough). My next bag was a print – brown with purpleish/bluish flowers – I can’t remember the pattern though and they no longer sell it. BUT, it is one of the seatbelts in this new Pocketbook Full of Posie bag!!!! Then, I fell in love with Sujean Rim’s prints and got the spring boat tote. My most recent purchase was the Ruffle in black. I rotate through them as my mood and seasons change. There have been so many bags in the past that I wished I would have gotten – herringbone, leather. But I’m sure something new will pique my interest…and they come out every 1st Friday, so that’s awesome!
Julie–what a dedicated fan you are to stand in line for the limiteds. I have yet to visit a Harvey’s retail store. I am contemplating a trip to CA (mainly) just for that!! hehe. I do all my shopping online or I have it directly shipped from Christopher @ the store on Melrose. I’ve got about 65 bags as of right now & I have been eyeing this Pocketful of Posie since it came out!! It is a great bag for spring!
